Proud To Be An American!

Last week we got a call from one of our previous brides Elizabeth. She told us that her coworker was getting her citizenship and she wanted to do something really special. So, we present to you Red White And Blue Gourmet Kake Truffles. The flavors were wedding white with raspberry filling to go with the theme.

To say Theresia was excited is an understatement! Congratulations on becoming an American Citizen, and thank you Elizabeth for letting us be a part of this very special occasion!!

Celebrating LIfe!

Two years ago Kristin Mahler came to us with a client. A very special client. You see, Vicki, had been in a very serious bicycle accident and was near death 3 years ago. Last year she wanted to have 2 year Anniversary Party to celebrate being alive. How cool we thought.

This year her party was held at Evolve Pilates in Gainesville. Vicki's story was featured in their recent magazine as well. Of course this cake would not be complete without being decorated with bicycles and the number 3, to celebrate her 3rd anniversary. What do you think??

Thanks again Kristin and Vicki for including us in this wonderful celebration! We miss you Kristin but love being able to still work together on occasion.

Birthday Truffle Pops

Birthday girl in her new hat!
My baby girl, Layla, turned 8 on Tuesday. Every year she picks what fancy cake she wants. When she turned 2 she asked for the 100 Acre Woods, 3 Cinderella with the pumpkin carriage and so on.
This year she chose kake truffles. (of course) So KB's aka Grandmommy made her custom Birthday Truffle Pops for her school birthday party. Check them out!

Needless to say...They were a HUGE HIT!!!
Have you had your KB's Gourmet Kake Truffles today?

For All You Dog Lovers

Saw this and I just had to share. Isn't this precious, what do you think?

Therapy dogs to bark their vows at wedding

After years of friendship and service, two Tampa General Hospital volunteers are getting hitched -- for better or worse.

Bride: a female Chihuahua named Chicklet.

Groom: an American Lab named Blake.

It's the hospital's first therapy dog wedding.

Two other therapy dogs, golden retrievers Samantha and Simba, will be "bridedogs," and greyhound Blaze will stand by Blake as "best dog."

No word yet about where the couple is registered, though one gift already has been promised —a canine-friendly ice cream cake made by a hospital employee.

Awwwwwwww..... Puppy love.
